D&D Genie Warlock 5E Build – Pact of the Talisman

Today we create a Genie Warlock from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything for #DnD 5E. We will start at level 1 and advance to level 10 and discuss all of the Genie Features, character selections and spells along the way. This character build will focus on using as many of the new features as we can from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. This warlock build is a fantastic option for a player wanting to play a character with a multitude combat, non-combat and role playing abilities. #DnDBeyond #TashasCauldronOfEverything

What is a Genie Warlock?

You have made a pact with one of the rarest kinds of genie, a noble genie. Such entities rule vast fiefs on the Elemental Planes and have great influence over lesser genies and elemental creatures. Noble genies are varied in their motivations, but most are arrogant and wield power that rivals that of lesser deities. They delight in turning the table on mortals, who often bind genies into servitude, and readily enter into pacts that expand their reach.

Our character today, Jenaya, will be created using the standard array for ability scores (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) and using the official D&D 5th Edition Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything book along with the Player’s Handbook. In this Warlock build we will be using a lot of new options including the Customizing your Origin to give our Air Genasi a boost to her Charisma. With the exception of the Air Genasi race, most of this build should be Adventure League legal. Simply swap out Air Genasi for a Half-Elf from the PHB and you should be good to go.
